05.00 AM, pick-up time – Drive through scenic landscapes along Nairobi road to your 1 day Tsavo East safari. There will be a short break at Mackinnon just near the gate for refreshments. On arrival at the gate, the car-roof will be opened so that you may navigate to see animals without obstruction, enter into the park and start looking for animals; lion, cheetah, leopard, zebra, hyena, baboon, jackal.
Spend the morning down the scenic Tsavo East National Park looking for more wild-animals. Focus onto the direction of Aruba Dam and Kanderi areas where a high concentration of animals could be found: Tsavo East National Park is one of the world’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries noted for its vast red-colored elephant herds and a variety of wild game including buffalo, giraffe, leopard, hippo, wild-dogs, eland and other plain game. Tsavo East National Park has an impressive list of more than 500 birds species.
Lunch shall be served at a restaurant within or slightly – outside Tsavo East National Park.
After lunch, you will start returning with extra short game viewing en-route towards the exit gate. If you wanted to go for the optional, cultural tour that takes place outside the park, then this would have been the right time.
Arrive and drop-off at your sea resort will be at dusk.
